Sort the legal marriage first, or plan when you'll do it, and check the current rules on gov.uk. Then choose your place: your photographer can suggest spots that are reachable in wedding clothes and look good at your time of day.
Some beautiful places are managed or private land, such as National Trust properties, and may need permission for professional photography or a ceremony; your photographer will confirm what applies. Plan for British weather with layers, sturdy shoes to change into, and a covered backup. If guests are coming, tell your photographer how many.

Can we have guests?
Yes. Elopements are usually very small; tell us how many people are coming so the plan and quote reflect it.
Do we need permission to exchange vows on a hillside or beach?
It depends on who owns or manages the land. Your photographer will confirm what applies to your chosen spot, and any permit fees are quoted separately.
What if the weather is terrible?
Plan a covered backup and bring layers. Rain and mist can look beautiful, but safety comes first on exposed ground; how rescheduling works is set out in your quote.
Can the photographer travel with us between spots?
Usually, within the hours agreed. Travel outside the included area is quoted separately.
