Full-day wedding photography covers your wedding from the morning preparations through the ceremony, family groups, portraits, the meal and speeches, to the first dance and evening celebrations. It's for couples who want the whole story of the day told, not only the ceremony.
Packages start from £1,800, and every full-day wedding needs a custom quotation because days differ so much in length, location and plans. Optional extras include a second photographer, which helps with getting-ready photos in two places and more candid coverage, and a printed album. How to prepare
Share a written timeline with your photographer a few weeks before, including addresses for getting ready, the ceremony and reception, and the times of speeches and the first dance. Check your venue's rules on photography during the ceremony and pass them on.
Prepare a named list of family groups and choose someone to gather people. Allow time for portraits in good light; your photographer can suggest when. Tell them about anything sensitive, such as divorced parents or relatives who have died, so they can plan with care. Arrange a meal for your photographer if they're working through the wedding breakfast.

Why does a full day need a custom quote?
Wedding days vary in length, locations, travel and deliverables. Your quote sets out the hours, what is included and the price, and nothing is booked until you accept it.
Do we need a second photographer?
It helps if you are getting ready in different places, have a large guest list or want more candid coverage. It is optional, from £400.
Can we add an album?
Yes, albums start from £200. Your photographer will explain the options and when the album is produced.
Do we pay for the photographer’s travel or accommodation?
Travel outside the included area and any accommodation needed for a long day are quoted separately and shown in your quote.
What happens if the day runs late?
Agree it with your photographer on the day if they can stay. Extra time is from £100 per hour.
