Photographing Chelsea

The river

Getting there and around
Tube: Sloane Square (District and Circle lines) is at the eastern end of the King's Road. Much of Chelsea is a walk or bus ride from the nearest station, as there is no Tube along most of the King's Road.
Buses: several routes run the length of the King's Road, linking Sloane Square with the western end.
Overground and Northern line: Imperial Wharf (Overground) serves the western edge, and Battersea Power Station (Northern line) is across the river, a walk from Battersea Park.
On foot: Chelsea is flat and easy to walk. A typical route runs from the King's Road to Bywater Street, then down to Cheyne Walk and Albert Bridge.
Driving: parking is limited and mostly for residents.
