Getting there and around
Overground: Shoreditch High Street station comes out beside Redchurch Street and Brick Lane. Hoxton station is closest to Columbia Road.
Tube and rail: Liverpool Street (Elizabeth, Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, plus mainline trains) is a short walk from Spitalfields. Old Street (Northern line) serves the northern edge of Shoreditch, and Aldgate East is at the southern end of Brick Lane.
On foot: the whole area, from Spitalfields to Columbia Road, is walkable in a single session.
Driving: parking is scarce, and parts of the area are inside the Congestion Charge zone. Come by public transport.
