How to prepare
Send your photographer the run of the event with times for speeches, presentations or anything else that must not be missed. List the people and groups you definitely want photographed, and name a contact on the day who can point them out.
Check the venue's rules on photography and whether there are areas guests shouldn't be photographed in. If some guests have asked not to appear in photographs, tell your photographer beforehand. Think about how you'll use the images, such as sharing with guests, social media or a newsletter, so your photographer can plan the shots.

Will the photographer get in the way?

What if some guests don’t want to be photographed?
Tell your photographer before the event. They will avoid those guests and leave them out of group photos.
