Getting there and around
Salisbury station has direct trains from London Waterloo, and services on other routes to Bristol, Bath, Southampton and Exeter. The station is a short walk from the centre and roughly a 15-minute walk from the cathedral.
By car, the city is reached via the A36 and A338, close to the A303. There are Park & Ride sites around the edge, and central car parks fill on market days. For Stonehenge, a tour bus has run from the city in season — check the operator's current timetable — or it is a short drive north.
